We are a group of Evangelical Christians who meet regularly to worship God, read the Bible, and pray together. “Evangelical” means that we believe the Bible is God’s word and that Jesus is the only Saviour, and we want to tell others about it.

We are people from different backgrounds who share a love for God’s Son Jesus and thank Him for what He has done for us.

What do we believe?

We believe in the God of the Bible; that He sent His Son Jesus Christ into the world to be our Saviour. He offers the forgiveness of sins to anyone who repents, believes the Good News and comes to Jesus in real faith.

We believe that Jesus died on the Cross and then rose again. This means that God has accepted His Son’s sacrifice for our sins and the way has been opened for us to return to Him.

We believe that when someone comes to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour they receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God enables us to follow Jesus and gives us the assurance of everlasting life.

Why do we want to share this?

Firstly, because Jesus told His followers to share the Good News of His love with everyone.

We care about our local community, and in a changing world full of uncertainty, the Bible has brought hope and meaning to our lives - and we just can’t keep that to ourselves!

God is able to bring you real help, comfort and peace that passes all understanding. Jesus is alive and able to change people as He did in New Testament times.
